Foods are fuel for our body to work efficiently just like petrol & diesel are important for vehicles and motors.

But majority of people use these products unknowingly which can cause serious health issues in future like obesity, hormonal imbalance, chronic illnesses and what not? Unknowingly these foods are killing you from inside.

1. Refined oil
Worst thing in your kitchen is refined oil. When pure and natural oil is refined by using various chemicals and treated by acids and many chemical processes, at last the oil obtained is refined oil which is very harmful to us. After going through a long chain of chemical processes it hardly contains any nutrition. It lost its moisture, odour(smell), thickness, protein, healthy fats & all other minerals and vitamins.
It contain LDL(Low -Density Lipoprotein) in very high amount, called the bad cholesterol and are responsible for diseases like stroke, heart problems, brain damage, diabetes, cancers, respiratory problems etc. But our body requires HDL(High - Density Lipoprotein), the good cholesterol to maintain heart health. Therefore it doesn't make any sense to use refined oil.
Tip-
Instead of refined oil you can use oils like mustard oil, coconut oil, nuts oil, rice bran oil, sesame oil, Olive oil & one of the best cow ghee.
2. Maida(Refined wheat flour)
Maida is produced from wheat grains after removing the bran of the grain, so the endosperm of the grain is refined, milled & bleached to produce maida. Bran & germ of wheat grain are rich in fibre, protein and other nutrients but during the production of maida these two layers of grain are removed. The remaining endosperm, though it contain some vitamins & minerals but the endosperm is carried out for further refining and bleaching process. Hence the endosperm also become nutritionless.
Maida can cause digestion problems which can lead to gastritis(first symptom of all upcoming disease), constipation, bad cholesterol levels, high blood pressure, obesity, intestinal problems, hormonal imbalance.

Sugars are normally extracted from sugarcane, fruits, corns, honey etc. Sugar is a simple form of carbohydrate.
Sugar are of two types-
1. Simple sugar(monosaccharide), including glucose, fructose and galactose.
2. Compound / complex sugar(disaccharide)

including sucrose, maltose, lactose. The sugar we eat are compound/complex sugar well known as regular sugar, table sugar or white sugar.
When you eat sugar in high amount your blood sugar level starts to rush very quickly. So, to counter the increase in blood sugar level pancreas releases a hormone called insulin.This insulin helps to normalize the blood sugar level. If blood sugar level is high then more insulin is released for which pancreas has to work more and more which is not good for pancreas.
If you start eating sugar which has no vitamins, minerals, protein, fibre and other micronutrients. These are only empty calories which in turn can cause type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, heart attack, eye problems, obesity, tooth decay, hair fall, certain cancers, faster ageing, low immunity & there are many others.
Sugar is addictive too. It damages your body just like alcohol. Avoid all the sugar food items like soft drinks, cookies, junk foods.
